For artists & galleries

Context for
the work.

Build a lasting record of an artist’s practice—through considered profiles, artworks, exhibitions, and original written interviews.

The editorial position

Visibility matters. So does the context in which the work is seen.

Anyone may create an account and prepare an artist profile. Publication is not automatic: every new profile and every change to a published profile is reviewed by the ArtFeatures editorial team.

Premium capacity never purchases coverage. Profiles and interviews remain editorial decisions, whether an account is Normal or Premium.

How publication works

Open to begin.
Reviewed to publish.

  1. 01

    Create

Register, verify your email, and begin an artist profile.

  2. 02

    Prepare

Add the biography, portrait, links, artworks, and contact information.

  3. 03

    Submit

Send the completed profile to the editorial team for review.

  4. 04

    Publish

Once approved and editorially selected, the profile can be published. Later changes follow the same review path.

The written interview

A conversation with time to think.

Artists may request an interview through an editorial invitation code or an open proposal. If selected, an editor sends a researched set of questions through the artist workspace. The artist replies online; the editor then prepares the conversation for publication.

Questions, answered

Before you begin.

Can anyone create an account?

Yes. Account creation is open. A public profile still requires editorial review and approval.

Does an account guarantee publication?

No. ArtFeatures remains a selective editorial platform. Creating or upgrading an account does not guarantee a published profile or interview.

Can a gallery manage several artists?

Yes, provided it is authorised to manage their information and media. Normal accounts can manage up to three artists; Premium capacity for up to twenty artists is coming soon.

Can I change a profile after publication?

Yes. Changes are prepared in the artist workspace and submitted for editorial approval before they replace the public version.

How are interviews selected?

Through an editorial invitation or an open proposal. Both routes are reviewed, and neither guarantees that an interview will be commissioned.

What will Premium cost?

Pricing has not been set. It will be communicated before billing is introduced, and existing accounts will not be charged automatically.
